About Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo
The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo generally abbreviated to Calgary Expo is a yearly comic and popular culture tradition occurring in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The show initially started in 2006 as a comic book tradition, before proceeding onward in 2009 to incorporate performing artists from network shows and motion pictures. Beginning in 2006, the tradition has rapidly turned into the second biggest tradition in Canada. The tradition initially started in the BMO Center before growing in 2013 over the entire Stampede Park, and in 2014 moreover making an additional tent for boards. The tradition wound up well known for having rejoined the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation for the shows 25th commemoration in 2012, and after two years, rejoining about the whole cast of Aliens.
Likewise, a cosplay march, which starts at Eau Claire, and completions at Olympic Plaza, which started in 2013 with more than 400 members, and proceeded in 2014 with 690.
