Churdhar Peak Trek

We pick you up from Chandigarh ISBT Sec 17 at around 5:30 AM if you opt for pick up and drop to Chandigarh else you can reach Nauradhar on your own and drive towards Nauradhar. We would reach Nauradhar approximately by 10 AM. After having breakfast and getting packed lunch at Nauradhar, we start the trek towards Jam Nallah at approximately 11 AM. The trek is uphill and would pass through a forest of pine trees. The lunch would be served on the way. We would reach Jam Nallah, our first day camping site, at 3 PM approximately. After having snacks at 4 PM, dinner would be served at 8 PM. After that we would have ample time for some recreational activities as well.

After having breakfast and getting packed lunch we start the trek around 6:30 AM. The trek from Jam Nallah to Teesri 5 kms would take around 2. 5 to 3 hours. Teesri is a little place with along the ridge of the mountain. Then we trek from Teesri to the temple which is approx. 2 kms and it is from this place that the trees start diminishing as we cross the tree line. We reach the temple at 12:30 PM and have lunch there. Then we start trekking towards the Churdhar summit which is approximately 1 km from the temple. The view from the summit is breathtaking as one gets a 360 degree view of ious Himalayan ranges like Shrikhand Mahadev, Kinner Kinnaur Kailash, Kedarnath and Badrinath. After spending some time at the summit we start our trek downhill to our base camp at Jam Nallah. We expect to reach the base camp at around 6 PM.

After having breakfast and getting packed lunch, we start the trek downhill to Nauradhar at around 9 AM. It would take around 2-3 hours to reach Nauradhar. We start the drive from Nauradhar to Chandigarh and expect to reach Chandigarh by 8 PM approximately.
