About San Juan
San Juan is a valley city east of the Andes Mountains, in west-focal Argentina. In the inside, the Casa Natal de Sarmiento is the origin of nineteenth century president and essayist Domingo Faustino Sarmiento. Adjacent, the Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes Franklin Rawson highlights depictions by Argentinean and European specialists. The Agustín Gnecco Provincial Historical Museum exhibits nearby coins, stamps and furniture. The Auditorio Juan Victoria social complex offers shows and workmanship displays.
On the city's western edges, the whitewaters of the San Juan River are mainstream for kayaking. West of the city are the Tulum and Zonda valleys, known for winemaking. The city is a base for outings to Ischigualasto Provincial Park likewise called Valle de la Luna, toward the upper east. This sprawling desert stop is known for its moonlike shake developments and broad fossils from the Triassic time frame. South of the recreation center, the rough valley scenes of the Valle Fértil are rich in birdlife, including herons, woodpeckers and Andean condors.
