About Xenia
Xenia is a city in territory of Ohio, U.S., close to the Little Miami River, around 15 miles east-southeast of Dayton. It was established in 1803 by Joseph C. Vance, who gave it a Greek name signifying "accommodation." The landing of the railways in the 1840s gave stimulus to its development as an exchanging community for ranchers and stock raisers.
Little makes supplement its horticultural base. The log lodge of James Galloway, boondocks scout and American Revolutionary War officer, is saved as a notable landmark. Parts of Xenia were reconstructed after tornadoes in 1974 annihilated about portion of the city. Adjacent instructive establishments incorporate two truly vital dark colleges at Wilberforce: Central State University and Wilberforce University.
