About Whitefield
Whitefield is well known among locals and visitors, it is a town in Coos County, New Hampshire, United States, in the White Mountains Region. The populace was 2,306 at the 2010 enumeration. Arranged on the northern edge of the White Mountains, Whitefield is home to the Mount Washington Regional Airport and the White Mountains Regional High School. Whitefield has numerous cases of Victorian engineering, including a historic point bandstand worked in 1875 on the normal. The extremely old town corridor with chime tower was torn down in 2013. At the 2014 Town Meeting, voters constructed a pre-fab working to be situated outside of the town focus. The two most noteworthy focuses in Whitefield are Howland Hill and Kimball Hill, both of which top 1,712 feet 522 m above ocean level.
