Ventura

Ventura also known by the name of San Buenaventura, it is a city situate of Ventura region, southern California, U.S. It lies on the Pacific drift neglecting the Santa Barbara Channel. It is the site of the San Buenaventura Mission, the ninth and last mission established 1782 by Junípero Serra, which was reestablished as a memorable site and remains a dynamic area. After the mission lands were secularized, a Mexican land allows of 1841 deeded to Raimundo Olivas the territory that progressed toward becoming Rancho San Miguel.

Olivas Adobe Historical Park saves the Olivas hacienda. San Buenaventura State Beach exists in the city, and a few other state shorelines are close-by. Channel Islands National Park is found 14 miles 23 km seaward in the Santa Barbara Channel.
