Locust

Locust is a city in Stanly and Cabarrus districts in the U.S. province of North Carolina. The focal point of Locust is at the convergence of consolidated North Carolina Highway 24/27 with North Carolina Highway 200. NC 24/27 drives east 15 miles to Albemarle and west to the Charlotte region. By means of NC 27 it is 25 miles 40 km to the Charlotte focus city. NC 200 leads northwest to US 601 and gives a course to Concord, 15 miles away, and drives southwest 22 miles. The populace was 2,416 at the 2000 enumeration. Insect is a little rustic city in Stanly and Cabarrus districts in the U.S. province of North Carolina. The populace was 2,930 at the 2010 census.
