Hercules

Hercules is a city in western Contra Costa County, California. Arranged along the shore of San Pablo Bay, it is situated in the eastern district of the San Francisco Bay Area, around 10 miles north of Berkeley, California. Starting at 2010, its populace was 24,060, as per the United States Census Bureau. The site of Hercules was first created in 1881 as an assembling office of the California Powder Works for the generation of its licensed explosive plan, Hercules powder. In 1882, the Hercules Powder Company was joined and accepted accountability for the Hercules site. It was one of a few touchy producers that were dynamic along the Pinole shoreline in the late nineteenth to the mid-twentieth century.

The small company town that grew up close to the office in this way ended up known as "Hercules", and was fused toward the finish of 1900. Beginning in the 1970s, Hercules was intensely redeveloped as rural room group that lies along the I-80 passage in Eastern Contra Costa County. It has an ethnically diverse population.
