Harvey

Harvey is a city in Cook County in Illinois. Harvey is circumscribed by Dixmoor and Riverdale toward the north, Dolton, Phoenix, and South Holland toward the east, East Hazel Crest toward the south, and Hazel Crest, Markham and Posen toward the west. Three noteworthy north-south avenues in Chicago wander as far south as Harvey in some limit. Halsted Street goes through the east side of town. Dixie Highway, as it is known in Harvey, is Western Avenue in Chicago. At long last, Chicago's Ashland Avenue moves toward becoming Wood Street in Harvey. The purpose behind this is a surveyor's blunder along the line where Interstate 57 is presently found; Harvey's road names and numbers fit in with the area lines as opposed to genuine separation from Chicago's baselines. Harvey's own particular Ashland Avenue fills in as the east-west partitioning line for house numbering.
