About Halifax
Halifax is a town in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States. The people was 7,518 at the 2010 registration. It was first settled by Europeans, most surprisingly the Bosworth family from Bosworth Fields in England, in 1669, creating with strolling and agribusiness.
It was definitively disengaged from the town of Plympton and participated in 1734, and was named for Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. The town was a bit of an early push to make a channel between Buzzards Bay and Massachusetts Bay, when in 1795 a trench was proposed between the Taunton River and North River.
Regardless, the course of action never succeeded, despite the way that the town's sawmills continued creating, as did cranberry creation, squeeze radiators and a wool procedure. Today the town is by and large private, with a little retail domain creating at the point of convergence of town.
