About Dola
Dola is a census-assigned place in central Washington Township, Hardin County, Ohio. As of the 2010 United States Census it had a populace of 140. Dola was initially called "North Washington", and under the last name was platted in 1852.
A mail station was built up as "North Washington" in 1854, and the name was changed to "Dola" in 1906. Dola is situated along State Route 81 amongst Ada and Dunkirk, 12 miles by street north-northwest of the city of Kenton, the region seat of Hardin County. Dola lies at the headwaters of the Eagle Creek, which streams north to meet the Blanchard River in Findlay. As indicated by the U.S. Evaluation Bureau, the Dola CDP has a territory of 0.83 square miles, every last bit of it arrive.
