Dixon
About Dixon
Dixon is a city in northern Solano County, California, United States. Dixon inhabitants Matt and Mark Cooley, proprietors of Cool Patch Pumpkins, as of now hold the Guinness World Record for "biggest labyrinth, impermanent corn/trim labyrinth". The labyrinth estimated 163,853.83 m² or 40.489 acres. In 2012, Cool Patch Pumpkins broke its own record with a 53-section of land maze. In 2014 Cool Patch Pumpkins again broke its own particular record by growing a 60-section of land maze.
The first semi-lasting European settlement to create in the Dixon zone rose amid the California Gold Rush of the mid-nineteenth century. Amid this time, the group of Silveyville was established as a midpoint between the Pacific drift and the rich gold fields of Sacramento—along a course generally went by mineworkers.
