Corona
About Corona
Corona is a city in Riverside County, California, United States. As of the 2010 statistics, the city had a populace of 152,374, up from 124,966 at the 2000 enumeration. The urban communities of Norco and Riverside deceive the upper east, Eastvale toward the north, Chino Hills and Yorba Linda toward the northwest, and the Cleveland National Forest and the Santa Ana Mountains toward the southwest. Unincorporated territories of Riverside County line the greater part of its other borders.
Corona, initially named South Riverside, was established at the tallness of the Southern California citrus blast in 1886, and is profitably arranged at the upper end of the Santa Ana River Canyon, a critical go through the Santa Ana Mountains. The town of Corona was previously the "Lemon Capital of the World". An exhibition hall there presents the lemon's previous part in the neighborhood economy. The city determined its name and its moniker, "The Circle City" from the inquisitive format of its avenues, with a standard lattice encased by the roundabout Grand Bouled, 2.75 miles 4.43 kilometers in circumference.
The road format was composed by Hiram Clay Kellogg, a structural designer from Anaheim who was a compelling figure in the early advancement of Orange County.
