About Cairo
Cairo is situated at the junction of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers. The streams meet at Fort Defiance, a Civil War camp that was worked in 1862 by Union General Ulysses S. Give. A few pieces in the town include the Cairo Historic District, recorded on the National Register of Historic Places NRHP.
The whole city was cleared amid the 2011 Mississippi River Floods, after the Ohio River rose higher than the 1937 surge levels, with the likelihood of 15 feet of water immersing Cairo. The United States Army Corps of Engineers ruptured levees in the Mississippi surge zone beneath Cairo in Missouri to avert flooding in more crowded regions advance upstream along both the Ohio and Mississippi streams.

what a divine place it was. everything left us awe-inspired. no doubt, it is one of the 7 wonders of the world.

by far the best experience i have ever had. everything was planned immaculately and impeccably. pre journey , journey and during the entire stay and sightseeing it was marvelous and scintillating . every one of your executives mr. amog, mr. greig, mr. kundan mr. raghuvendra and others made us feel at home. the entire tour was a blockbuster and exquisite.
