Ava

Ava is a city in Missouri, United States. It was renamed Ava in 1881, the town's unique name having been "Volunteer army Springs. Ava is situated in the southern segment of the Missouri Ozarks inside the southern slope of the Salem Plateau.The zone was settled amid the 1830s and Douglas County was joined in 1857 with Vera Cruz as area situate. In 1864 the town of Militia Springs was established and turned into the new area situate in 1870. The town was platted in 1871 and renamed Ava in 1881 despite the fact that not fused until the point that 1908. Militia Springs was the area of a camp of Union troopers or Missouri Militia amid the American Civil War.
