About Taslicay
Taslicay is a town and region of Agrı Province in the Eastern Anatolia area of Turkey. It is situated in the valley of the Murat River out and about from the city of Agrı to Dogubeyazit and Turkey's fringe with Iran. It covers a region of 798 km². The populace, starting at 2012, is 22,589, of which 6,284 live in the town of Taslıcay and the rest of the encompassing wide open. The chairman is Ismail Tasdemir AKP.
Taslicay is encompassed by high mountains 2,000m or more, including; toward the north Perili, Balikgolu 3,159 m and Ziyarettepe 1,800 m of the South Aras run; and toward the south the Aladaglar, including Muratbasi Kocbasi 3,510 m and Kandil 2,750 m. The general population live by cultivating, chiefly raising domesticated animals. Despite the fact that the mountain sides can't be cultivated the land in the valley is ripe, watered in the spring melt by streams running into the Murat, and is utilized for developing beet and grains. Summers are sweltering, winters are chilly and frigid perpetual snow lies over 2,700. In summer the villagers climb the mountainside to munch creatures in high knoll, including on the banks of Lake Balık which contains trout and carp.
