Serik

Serik is a town and locale in Antalya Province of Turkey, 38 km east of the city of Antalya, along the Mediterranean drift. Towards the drift the locale is mostly level farmland, utilized for developing vegetables, while the inland 50% of Serik is forested slopes and the Taurus Mountains. The locale has a run of the mill Mediterranean atmosphere of sweltering, dry summers and warm, wet winters, and the common vegetation is dry bushes.

The city of Antalya is close-by restricting the potential for retailing and business in Serik, yet there is some light industry. There is a notable kofte and piyaz eatery in the town focus; the piyaz is presented with a sesame tahini sauce. With 22 km of coastline including the bustling resort town of Belek the area of Serik is a noteworthy focal point of Turkey's tourism industry, drawing in 30 million guests every year. Belek has more than 55 star inns and greens. Spots of intrigue incorporate the remnants of Sillion and Aspendos, the give in of Zeytinlitas and Ucansu cascade. The zone was named Serik after a Turkish clan that settled here, one of numerous floods of Turkish pilgrims pulled in to this drift from the beginning of time.
