About Bahcesaray
Bahcesaray is an area of Van Province of Turkey. It was a bucak in Peri locale of Siirt Province until the point when 1964 and Gevas area of Van Province between 1964-1987. It is at a separation of 110 km from Van. The leader is Mehmet Garip Aykut. Its previous name was Mukus, gotten from Armenian Mokk locale. The Armenian name of the city is Armenian, Moks. The word Mokk' in established Armenian dialect implies: the place of the enchantment.
As per the legend, Amenap'rkich convent that was adjacent Moks, has a grave of some conjurer by name Gaspar. Most likely name of the place of the enchantment or just Mokk' associated with this baffling identity. However, logical sources say that in Urartu period existed Moxene clan and Moxenne, Mokk', Moks names are origined from this current clan's name.
The word Bahcesaray is compound of bahce and saray. Bakhchysarai in Crimea has the equivalent name. District relates to Historical Armenia's Mogk Arandznyak area which layd amidst a more prominent region of Moks. The Kingdom of Armenia, likewise the Kingdom of Greater Armenia, or essentially Greater Armenia, was a government in the Ancient Near East which existed from 321 BC to 428 AD. Its history is partitioned into progressive rules by three regal administrations: Orontid, Artaxiad and Arsacid.
