Wadenswil, locally often referred to as Wadi or Wadischwil, is a municipality within the district of Horgen inside the canton of Zurich in Switzerland. The populace was about 21,000. On 1 January 2019 the previous municipalities of Hutten and Schonenberg merged into the municipality of Wadenswil. Before the 2019 merger, Wadenswil has a place of 17.4 Sq. Km.
