About Nyon
Nyon is a municipality in the district of Nyon in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. It is located approximately 25 kilometers northeast of Geneva city center, and since the 1970s it has become part of the Geneva metropolitan area. It is located on the edge of Lake Geneva and is the seat of Nyon district. In the city December 2017 there is a population of 20,533 and it is famous as the headquarters of European Football Associations and European Club Association in the world of sports.
