1. Ramoji Film City
Hyderabad may be considered a mysterious place because of many stories that will get your blood curdling. Ramoji film city is a famous shooting site for movies and is also one of the most haunted place of Hyderabad. Mystery is that many actors confessed that they have seen ghost in the mirror when they were getting ready for the shoot over there. And light men say some strange figures want to push them down from the wall.According to folklore, people say that here some souls of soldiers are roaming who died in the wars of Nizam’s.
2. Ravindranagar
In the year of 2012, serial suicides were attempted by people in Ravindranagar. That’s why this place finds a place in the list of mysterious places. In Ravindranagar residents have attempted suicides because of the presence of apparitions. Residents believe that the supernatural spirits are a form of heavenly wrath that started after a temple was diminished here.
3. Graveyard on Road 12, Banjara hills
In Hyderabad, Banjara hills are also known as the Graveyard on road 12. This is one of the haunted places in Hyderabad. Here streetlights on the road have a trend to mysteriously switch off by themselves in the dark. People driving by the graveyard at dark get punctured cars.
4. Golkonda Fort
One of the most splendid forts of India, Golkonda Fort is located at the outskirts of Hyderabad. The fort was ruled by many rulers and has seen many dynasties in centuries that have passed on. Therefore rumors are also abundant about this place. The place is believed to be haunted as incidents of screaming, shadows sightings, utensils banging etc have been reported. According to folklore, the souls of Qutub Shahi Rulers wander here. Reports of strange sounds coming from these ancient ruins in the night have been made. One more story which prevails in these areas is of Taramati and Premamati. These two were sisters who danced in the palace of Qutub Shah. Locals say that you can still hear Taramati singing and dancing in the fort. The soul of the courtesan still appears in the night and performs.
5. Kundanbagh Haunted House
The question that arises in our mind is what happened at this place which made it to the list of most haunted places in Hyderabad? The local tale is that at this place a woman lived and she had two daughters. One day a thief broke the lock and entered in two-storied house in Kundanabagh and found the dead bodies of the all three who used to put up there. Nearby people believed that this trio did very unusual activities like hanging the blood-filled bottle outside the house, lighting candles at the dead night and walking around their house to scare the neighbors.
6. Khairatabad Science College
This Hyderabad’s science college is also counted in haunted places of India. It is said to be haunted because in this college dead bodies had been dissected and tested in the labs. According to local people they said that those ‘dead bodies’ souls roam around the science college area. Now nobody dares to go inside this area. A long time ago a guard who was guarding the gates was killed cryptically.
7. Dedh Lakh Ghar
Forty years ago, this house was built with an amount of one lakh fifty thousand which means ‘Dedh Lakh’ in Hindi. That’s why this house is named as “Dedh Lakh Ghar”. This house is inhospitable because many suicides are attempted by the family members of whosoever lives here. Often people can listen to a spooky sound. During the day time also people avoid going there. Nearby people claim that they have to listen mysterious sounds from the house.
