 It is a beautiful palace situated in Mysore. It was the former palace of the Mysore royal family and is still their official residence. Mysore Palace was built in 1912 and is among the biggest palaces in India.
The front of the palace is a blend of Hindu, Rajput, Muslim, and Gothic styles, imparting a regal quality. With the Chamundi Hills on its eastern side, the palace's display is a sight to behold. It is second behind the Taj Mahal and is the most visited monument. The Maharaja’s Palace is renowned for its light and sound show and Dussehra celebrations.

This was established in 1892 for the Royals. Furthermore, after freedom, it was handed over to the State Government. The Zoo's planning is responsible for making it a zoological garden. It creates a natural habitat for the animals in it. From Big to small cats to aquatic and terrestrial birds, 168 species are here. The world's first caesarian delivery performed on an elephant gave it global recognition.
Located near the Mysore Palace, it covers an area of 157 acres and is one of the oldest zoos in India. It is also an orphanage for abandoned animals. The Karanji Lake was put under the jurisdiction of the zoo in 1976 and is a serene place for boating.

The complex has about 16000 refugees and 600 monks.  Namdroling Monastery’s key entrance is a four-story tower with a wheel portraying a symbol of Buddhism. The key attractions inside the complex are the Lord Buddha, Lord Amitayus, and Lord Padmasambhava statues. Visitors can pray and rotate the mani prayer drums.

Bhadrabahu Swamy, accompanied by his disciples and Samrat Chandraguptha Mourya, travelled from Pataliputra to Kalvappu and took samadhi in Chandragiri Hills of Shravana Belagola. The Temple of Shri Himavad Gopalaswamy, situated at 4770 feet above sea level, was built around 700 years ago and is one of the eminent temples with attractive views. Once, it was called South Govardhanagiri and Kamalachala. 
The temple was formulated in the 14th century and is dedicated to Lord Krishna, installed by the sage“Agasthya.” It was built in 1315, facing North. King Chola Ballala constructed this temple throughout AD 1315. Later, the Wodeyars of Mysore, devotees of Lord Venugopala, displayed keen interest in preserving the hill temple.

One of the biggest churches in India, it was constructed in 1843 to cater to the British officers based in Srirangapatna and Mysore. It was first a wooden building that stood for over a century. The church was created in 1936 and modelled after the Cologne Cathedral in Germany. It was made in the Neo-Gothic style by French architect Daly.
It is dedicated to the Greek Saint Philomena, born in the 4th Century. Part of her clothes and bones are still kept in the church. The church's inspiration is St. Patrick’s in New York. Inside, there are attractive paintings depicting the life of Christ.
