Rute

Rute is a municipality within the province Spain. It lies amongst Iznajar to the South East, and Lucena to the North West. Its primary economy centres on the vast production of foodstuffs together with dozens of various makes of Anis and traditional Spanish hams. Galleros and Flor de Rute both have their factories there; Galleros being famous for its annual "Belen" - the Nativity Scene crafted from Chocolate, on view from round 15 October each 365 days, and Flor de Rute for his or her sugarwork which in 2007 included a sugar existence-sized scene of Picasso among other characters.
