About Polokwane
It is a city located in South Africa.
They established another city in 1886 and named it Pietersburg to pay tribute to Voortrekker pioneer Petrus Jacobus Joubert.The settlement must be surrendered due to conflicts with the nearby clans.
The British manufactured a death camp at Pietersburg amid the Boer War to house very nearly 4,000 Boer ladies and youngsters. The city turned into a city on April 1992; on February 2005, the legislature proclaimed the official name of the city as Polokwane, a name that was by and large being used by the speakers of Northern Sotho.
