About Copsa Mica
Copsa Mica is a metropolis in Sibiu County, Transylvania, Romania. Here they have got lived through the centuries Hungarians, Saxons and Romanians. During the communist duration, some factories had been built that brought the town a negative reputation at some point of the sector, the locality turning into recognized particularly for the pollutants with black smoke. At the 2011 census there had been 5,404 population. Copsa Mica also includes the previous city of Prostea Mica.
In the 1960s there has been a running colony now embedded in the metropolis, known as the Colonia Laboratory. The archaeological lines were researched and studied by using the Archeology Institute of Cluj and the Medias Municipal Museum. Several material lines had been discovered that attest to the presence of life and man on those lands. The prehistoric agreement is at the low slope of the southwestern hill. There were revealed portions of chirpics and impressions of wreaths, fragmentary ceramics. On the right bank of the Visa circulation, a molar from a big and the traces of an early bronze agreement were determined on the exploitation of a sand pit. These materials have been donated to the Museum of Medias.
