Hovik

Hovik is a suburban region inside the municipality of Baerum, Akershus, Norway, in the Oslo metropolitan area. Mainly a residential region, its population is 4,311. It is normal to divide Hovik into two components; Nedre and ovre. Hovik has a church, a small purchasing region and a railway station, Hovik Station, served by using Drammensbanen. Flytoget does not prevent at Hovik. Nearby is the Henie Onstad Kunstsenter. There are 3 schools in Hovik: Ramstad Skole, Hovik Verk Skole and Hovik Skole.

There are also some critical corporations with places of work in Hovik, e.G. DNV GL. Hovik has seashores which can be crowded for the duration of the summer time. This is a famous undertaking area all year round, attracting people from the entire of Bærum. Hovik IF has sections for alpine skiing, bandy, affiliation football and running. They play in Norwegian Bandy Premier League. In 2016 the guys's crew reached the area-final and the ladies's crew the final.
