Numan is a town and a Local Government Area in Adamawa State, Nigeria. It is a port town that lies on the conjunction of Benue River and Gongola River. The Predominant ethnic gathering in the town are the Bwatiye Bachama individuals who have a notoriety of being unconquered warriors in the entirety of their history. The Bwatiye individuals are driven by a First Class King known as the Hama Bachama, who is the central leader of the Bwatiye Kingdom, whose Voti castle is in Numan the authoritative seat of the position of royalty while Lamurde has another royal residence for the King as that is the otherworldly or familial home of the Bwatiye individuals.
The name of the present King is HomunKing Honest Irmiya Stephen, Kwire Mana Kpafrato II, a resigned officer of the Nigerian Army who climbed the position of authority in 2012 succeeding Homun Asaph Zadok late.
