Schiedam

Schiedam is a city and municipality in the province of South Holland within the Netherlands. It is a part of the Rotterdam–The Hague metropolitan area. The city is located west of Rotterdam, east of Vlaardingen, and south of Delft. In the south it's miles related with the village of Pernis by using the Beneluxtunnel. The metropolis is known for its historic center with canals, and for having the tallest windmills within the international. This was the town's principal industry during the early Industrial Revolution within the 18th and nineteenth century, a dark period to which it owed its former nickname "Zwart Nazareth" or "Black Nazareth".
