De Marne

De Marne is a municipality in the northeast of the Netherlands. The municipality of De Marne lies inside the north-western part of the province of Groningen, adjoining the Wadden Sea. It has about 10,000 inhabitants, covers a place of 240 rectangular kilometres and encompasses 21 villages. De Marne is in particular an agricultural vicinity, focussing on crop growing and farm animals farming. The fishing industry additionally performs an important position.
