Villa Gonzalez Ortega

The Municipality of Villa Gonzalez Ortega is one of the 58 districts of the province of Zacatecas, Mexico. The metropolitan seat is in the town of a similar name, Villa Gonzalez Ortega. Once in the past called Hacienda El Carro, later in 1922 by pronouncement of the Honorable State Congress, it changes to its present control. The district has a regional expansion of 324 km², speaking to 0.43% of the state surface. The district is 78 km southeast of the state capital.
