About Tepechitlan
The district of Tepechitlan is situated in the southwestern bit of the Mexican territory of Zacatecas. The region covers a territory of 584 square kilometers. Toward the north, it is circumscribed by the district of Tlaltenango de Sanchez Roman. The name of the region of 'Tepechitlan gets from the Caxcan word "tepezil" which alludes to ripeness, in this manner the name implies rich land.
