Tenamaxtlan

Tenamaxtlan is a town and municipality within the Sierra de Amula Region of the country of Jalisco, Mexico. It belonged to the lordship of Autlan. The town turned into at the beginning in Mesa de las Tablas, northwest of its contemporary web site, in which the lake tired. Later, the aborigines moved and went returned to the hill of Ayutepec wherein they suffered calamities resulting from a flood that surrounded the hill, being pressured to determine the hill of Bonete, in which the Spaniards determined them. Its basis is due to the natives of the vintage city of Hilotepeque, who met to observe the modern-day town within the chapel of Santiago.

Its founders have been the following human beings: Francisco de los angeles Cruz, Gaspar Hilario, Jose Lorenzo, Cristobal Leonor, Bruno Feliciano, Miguel Lorenzo, Gaspar Florencio, Ambrosio Cayetano, Luis Luciano and Geronimo Mauricio with their households. They congregated in the town of Santiago de Tenamaxtlan in 1535. The natives resisted reducing at first by means of the worry of the floods however ultimately they gave in.
