About Miguel Hidalgo
Miguel Hidalgo is one of the 16 delegaciones wards into which Federal District of Mexico City is separated. It was made in 1970, joining the notable zones of Tacuba, Chapultepec and Tacubaya alongside various outstanding neighborhoods, for example, Polanco and Lomas de Chapultepec. With milestones, for example, Chapultepec Park and the Museo Nacional de Antropologia, it is the second most visited ward in Mexico City after Cuauhtemoc, D. F. where the noteworthy focus of Mexico City is found. Tacubaya and Tacuba both have long accounts as free settlements and were assigned as "Barrios Magicos" by the city for the travel industry purposes.
The district is named after Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, who started the Mexican War of Independence. The precinct was made by combining different previous regions, for example, Tacuba, Tacubaya and the Chapultepec Park region alongside the areas, for example, Polanco, Lomas de Chapultepec, Bosques de las Lomas, Popotla, Las Pensil, La Argentina, America, Santa Julia and Observatorio. The focal point of the precinct is viewed as Chapultepec Park. Toward the start of the 20th century, the very edge of Mexico City has achieved the villages of Tacuba and Tacubaya.
