About Jalostotitlan
Jalostotitlan is a town and region situated in the upper east corner of the territory of Jalisco, Mexico, in an area known as Los Altos. The district imparts its fringe on the north to the region of Teocaltiche, the east with the region of San Juan de los Lagos, toward the south with the region of San Miguel el Alto, toward the southwest with the region of Valle de Guadalupe, and toward the west with the region of Canadas de Obregon.
The town is situated in a waist of the nation, with semi-desert, bone-dry grounds toward the north and increasingly rich terrains toward the south. Winters are generally cold and summers are sweltering and stormy. The district additionally incorporates the towns of San Nicolas de las Flores, Teocaltitan de Guadalupe, San Gaspar de los Reyes and Mitic. In the focal point of town are the places of worship that begin from the 16th century, when the town was first established.
