Cunduacan

Cunduacan is a municipality inside the relevant part of the state of Tabasco, in Mexico. It is placed inside the Grijalva River Region, Chontalpa subregion. Its call originates from the Mayan cum-ua-can, this means that "place of corn and serpents", which is likewise the name of the metropolis that's the municipal seat of the municipality. It is made of 10 villages, 31 ranches, 59 ejidos and thirteen colonias. The city had a 2005 census populace of eighty one,392 inhabitants , at the same time as the municipality had a population of 112,036. Its hydrography consists of the rivers Mezcalapa, which marks its southern border with the municipalities of Centro, Samaria, Guayabal, Cucuyulapa, Bari, Cunduacan and Tular; and the lagoons of Cucuyulapa and Ballona. The nation's Universidad Juarez Autonoma de Tabasco has various centers in Cunduacan.
