About Cuauhtemoc
Cuauhtemoc named after the previous Aztec chief, is one of the 16 boroughs of Mexico City. It consists of the oldest elements of the city, extending over what becomes the complete town within the 1920s. This area is the ancient and cultural middle of the metropolis, even though it is not the geographical middle. While it ranks only sixth in population, it generates about a 3rd of the whole metropolis's GDP, ordinarily via trade and offerings. It is domestic to the Mexican Stock Exchange, the essential visitor attractions of the ancient middle and Zona Rosa, and numerous skyscrapers including the
Torre Mayor and the Mexican headquarters of HSBC. The early records of the delegation coincide with the records of Aztec Tenochtitlan and colonial Mexico City. Tenochitlan turned into founded on a marshy island in Lake Texcoco. It changed into divided into 4 capuillis or neighborhoods centering on the Templo Mayor. This temple's ruins are located very close to the contemporary Main Square or Zocalo nowadays.
