Comonfort

Comonfort is one of the 46 Free Municipalities that make up the Mexican country of Guanajuato. On October 12, 2018, it became named Magical Town, with this appointment it's miles the sixth municipality of the country of Guanajuato, with this distinguished appointment. On January 1, 1562, Don Francisco de Velasco d it Villa of Chamacuero; identical that could serve to guard the area from the regular attacks of the Chichimecas, who were placed here, highlighting the pames.

In 1591 the Spaniards denominated San Francisco de Chamacuero, and the primary ordered agreement takes region within the neighborhood known as San Agustin. On November 7, 1861, it turned into d a municipality, and on November nine, 1874, on the initiative of the district's political chief, Mr. Ignacio Bernal, by using decree of the State, it become named Chamacuero de Comonfort, in homage to President Ignacio Comonfort. At gift, the municipality only takes the name of Comonfort.
