Kuah

Kuah is a town, mukim and region capital of Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia. It is the passage point for those dropping by ship from either the terrain or Penang Island. The town is fixated on its wharf, which gets groups of visitors every year who come to appreciate the shopping and different attractions of Langkawi. Throughout the years, Pekan Kuah has formed into a cutting edge and lively town with many shopping and eating openings, helped by the amazing development of guests to Langkawi.

Spots of Attraction:

• Dataran Lang: "Dataran Lang" or 'Hawk Square', is the area of a substantial model in the state of an ocean falcon roosted on rocks in pre-flight present. This 12-meter high statue welcomes guests who come to Pekan Kuah by ship as they ride to the breakwater. The hawk is the seal of Langkawi Island as its name is thought by some to have been gotten from the Malay word for bird. The square is an arranged zone with lakes, patios and extensions, where guests may walk and view the ocean.

• Al-Hana Mosque: The Al-Hana Mosque is one of Langkawi's biggest and most prevalent mosques. It is situated in Pekan Kuah to suit Muslim benefactors and permits guests who come to see the engineering. The mosque fuses themes and carvings from Uzbekistan alongside conventional Malay components. The mosque was opened by the principal Prime Minister of Malaysia Tunku Abdul Rahman in 1959.
