Vengurla

Vengurla, is a beach town on the north side of Goa. The beach is evergreen to witnesses where one can see hills with lush green foliage of cashew, mango, coconut and many more kind of berry trees. The place is treat to eye, a complete escape from the city life and have that relaxation period amidst the nature.

The place is composed of five major beaches namely, Nivati beach, Shiroda beach, Mochemad beach, Sagareshwar beach, and Vayangani beach. Amongst, the first two beach is most preferable beach spot for the tourist as it is composed of clear crystalline water. The beach offers many water sports activities thereby attract many tourists across. The place also accompanies many religious spots, temples like Mauli Devi Temple, Sateri Devi Temple etc are of great importance and many tourists offer prayer in the place and considered religious. The beach is not one’s shopping destination but certainly the popularity in selling roasted cashew nuts and sweets made from cashew mark the beach in its uniqueness. The place is truly a weekend gateway for all sorts of visitors.
