About Rewa
Rewa is a city in the north-eastern part of Madhya Pradesh state in India. It is the authoritative focus of Rewa District and Rewa Division. The city lies around 420 kilometers 261 mi upper east of the state capital Bhopal and 130 kilometers 81 mi south of the city of Allahabad. Rewa gets its name from another name for the Narmada River. Rewa is associated with Allahabad through NH 27 and Sidhi, Satna, Maihar and Varansi by means of NH-7.
In close-by Sidhi area, a piece of the recent royal province of Rewa, and now a piece of Rewa division, the world's first white tiger, a mutant iation of the Bengal tiger, was gotten. World's first white tiger safari is situated in REWA area of Rewa division. The region gets its name from the town of Rewa, the locale base camp, which is another name for the Narmada River. The domains presently incorporated into the locale were held by the supreme Maurya tradition, which managed in the third century BC. The zone went under the Kalachuris from the ninth to the finish of the twelfth century.
In the thirteenth century, Ulugh Khan, sibling of Sultan Alauddin, drove the Baghela lord east into the zone, where he established the Princely State of Rewa. This administration proceeded until the last successor, Martand Singh, surrendered and agreed manage to the Dominion of India in 1947. The present Rewa locale appeared in 1950 when the Provinces and States Order exchange of enclaves was put into impact. Preceding August 1947, the area, alongside the Raghurajnagar tehsil of the previous Rewa state, related to that state's north Rewa locale.
