About Ranga Reddy
Ranga Reddy District additionally called Cyberabad District in the past known as Hyderabad Rural is one of the 31 areas in the Indian territory of Telangana. The District base camp is situated at Shamshabad. The region was named after the previous vice president pastor of the joint province of Andhra Pradesh, Konda Venkata Ranga Reddy. The region imparts limits to Nalgonda, Yadadri, Hyderabad, Medchal, Nagarkurnool, Mahabubnagar, Sangareddy and Vikarabad regions. The district was formed in 1978 when it was part from Hyderabad region.
Initially named Hyderabad Rural area, it was renamed after Konda Venkata Ranga Reddy, an opportunity contender who battled for the freedom of Telangana from the Nizams and who proceeded to end up the vice president clergyman of Andhra Pradesh. In 2016, it was cut out amid the regions re-association to make new Vikarabad locale and Medchal– Malkajgiri region. In 2006 the Indian government named Ranga Reddy one of the nation's 250 most in reverse regions out of an aggregate of 640. It is one of the nine regions in Telangana presently accepting assets from the Backward Regions Grant Fund Program BRGF.
