Raghunathpur

Raghunathpur is headquarters of Raghunathpur subdivision in Purulia district of West Bengal, India. It is on the Purulia – Barakar street. Damodar Valley Corporation has gotten ready for a power plant at Raghunathpur as a proposed greenfield plant in the eleventh arrangement. The main stage would be 2 X 600 MW. Agents of the Jai Balaji gather visited the Raghunathpur on 11 January 2007 to see the locales for their proposed steel, bond and power plants. A steel plant of 5 million tons limit alongside a bond plant with limit of 3000,000 tons will be set up at square one in Raghunathpur. The Jai Balaji gathering will set up these ventures worth Rs 16,000 crore with a hostage control plant on 3,800 sections of land 15 km2 of land. Adhunik gathering will set up a 1,100,000 ton limit steel plant alongside a 1000,000 ton bond plant. The task covering a zone of almost 2,400 sections of land 9.7 km2 will likewise include a hostage control plant including a speculation of Rs 6400 crore.The state bureau endorsed the modern ventures on 22 August 2007.
