He was relative of Shah Qasim Suleiman of Chunar. Prior this territory was known as Sheher Dharhara. There is a fortress named Amina Bibi ka Quila usually known as Fansighar. She was the spouse of Shah Afaq and little girl of dissident Afghan general Shamsher Khan who was slaughtered in skirmish of Ranisarai with Nawab Alidi Khan.
