Ladnun

Ladnu, also Ladnun, is a town and a region in Nagaur area in the Indian province of Rajasthan. It is a Tehsil base camp of Nagaur region. It is the city of Jain sanctuaries and a standout amongst the most visited pioneer spots of Jain people group after Shri Mahaveerji. Ladnun is celebrated for Jain Vishva Bharati University, Jain sanctuaries of dazzling marble work, Ramanand gaushala and other old sanctuaries of religious and design significance. This city is likewise acclaimed as the origin of consecrated Jain Muni Aacharya Tulsi. The outings from Ladnun inside 15– 20 km are Dungar Balaji, Salasar Balaji Dham, Tirupati Balaji at Sujangarh.

Performing artist Rajat Barmecha was likewise conceived in Ladnun and still keeps on coming here at regular intervals. The town contains a place holy to Jainism too. The old Digambara Bara Jain Temple, arranged in the core of the city, had the icon of the god Saraswati, one of the best of that time. It has the engraving of the year 1229 AD.
