Kankroli

Kankroli is a city situated in the area of Rajsamand in Rajasthan, India. It is situated around 42 miles 68 km north of Udaipur and structures a twin city with Rajsamand. Rajsamand is well known for Rajsamand lake worked by Maharaja Rajsingh. Along the rajsamand lake is the excellent sanctuary Dwarikadheesh Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Kankroli is the primary city in Rajsamand, and lies on NH-8 Udaipur-Ajmer. Kankroli is well known for the JK Tire plant, which is one of the main Tire Manufacturers in India. An entire town is named after it known as JayKay Gram.

The idol of Dwarikadheesh Ji was introduced in another temple at Kankroli in V.S.1726, the town settles by the wonderful pool of Rajsamand, which was worked by Maharana Raj Singh. History uncovers that the lord Ambrish venerated Prabhu Dwarikadheesh at Arbuda slopes from where the god was moved by different lovers at last to Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya ji. The third great child of Vallabhacharya, Shri Bal Krishna Lal ji took the ownership of the divinity and from that point forward, Kankroli is known as third peeth of vaishnav religion or "SHUDDHADWAIT" or "PUSHTIMARG".
