Kamarpukur

Kamarpukur is a town arranged in Goghat II Community Development Block of the Hooghly District. It is celebrated for being the origination of Ramakrishna. It is the square central command of the Goghat – II people group advancement piece. On the western outskirt of Kamarpukur, the trench Bhutir-Khal streams in a crisscross course from the north toward the south and joins the Amodar River at a little separation.

Two incineration grounds called Budhui Moral and Bhutir-Khal lie on the north-east and north-west of the town individually. Along the eastern fringe of the town a roomy street keeps running from Burdwan 32 miles from Kamarpukur to Puri in Orissa.
