Timur halted here in 1398, preceding assaulting Delhi. Afterward, the city turned into a Muslim social focus, under the manage of Delhi Sultanate. Tombs of a few Sufi holy people dating from the thirteenth century can be found in the city today; most vital among them is that of Sheik Sala - ud-racket of Bhalkh 1246 CE. The town was remodeled and a fortress was worked amid the lead of the Mughal Emperor, Akbar, and according to Ain-I-Akbari, it was a pargana, under the sarkar of Sirhind, and had formed into an agrarian focus Razia Sultana, the principal lady leader of India, ruled as the Sultana of Delhi Sultanate from 1236 to 1240.
She fled Delhi with Malik Altuniya after they were vanquished on the 24th of Rabiu-l awwal A.H. 638 Oct. 1240, and achieved Kaithal the following day, where their residual powers relinquished them, and were killed on 13 Nov. 1240. Tomb of Rajia Begam is as yet found here. This angle is as yet not notable outside Kaithal, but rather occupants think about the mazaar of Razia Begum even ages later.
