Jalali

Jalali is a town and a nagar panchayat in Aligarh region in the Indian territory of Uttar Pradesh. Jalali was a different Pargana until 1862 which later was separated into Koi, Gangiri and different Parganas. Jalali is an old and authentic town in the region of Aligarh and is known for its way of life and customs. In the past known as Nilauti, Jalali was established by Jalaluddin Khilji amid the rule of Ghiyas ud-noise Balban. The considerable grandson of Ameer Kabir Sayyid Ali Hamadani, Sayyid Kamaluddin Hamadani, was the principal Sayyid to relocate and settle down in Jalali.
