Indergarh

Indergarh is a town and a nagar parishad in Datia district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is trusted that the name of this town was before Dard which later progressed toward becoming Indergaon. The leader of Indergaon was Indersen Jat. He developed a solid fortress here, that gave this place the name Indergarh. The Jat rulers were of Dondaria gotra. Lt. General Khem Karan Singh was additionally from this group.
