About Garhwa
Garhwa district is one of the twenty-four districts of Jharkhand state, India. Garhwa district is a part of the Palamu division, and its administrative headquarters are in the city of Garhwa. On 1 April, 1991, this locale was made from the previous Palamu area by isolating its previous Garhwa sub-division. Starting at 2011 Garhwa area is as of now a piece of the Red Corridor. Garhwa area includes three subdivisions: Garhwa, Nagar-Untari and Ranka which are additionally separated into 19 squares. At the season of creation, this area included just eight squares: Bhandaria, Bhawanathpur, Dhuraki, Garhwa, Manjhiaon, Meral, Nagar Untari and Ranka.
